November Edition of What’s New and Free Wednesday

Yes, it’s been several weeks since I posted, but thought I’d pop in today and–before you get glassy-eyed from all the Christmas lights and carols appearing everywhere now that Halloween is over–I want to let you know I’ve added a free…Christmas story to Wattpad. Yep, it may not be a classic like Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, but if you like reading about Kate’s & Meg’s Organized adventures, here’s the one with the Christmas twist Organized for Christmas Wishes. No dead bodies, but there is a nice little mystery to get everyone in the mood for the holiday season. It will be available on Wattpad through New Year’s Day, so feel free to share the link with friends if you like the story and want to spread a little Christmas cozy mystery cheer. Oh, and speaking of Dickens, be sure to catch the trailer for The Man Who Invented Christmas coming to theaters this year. I Read more…

Friday Peek at Upcoming Release

Since all of us in the U.S. have a holiday weekend coming up (so more reading time available, YAY!) I thought I’d add a freebie sneak peek of the first half of the first chapter of my October release ORGANIZED FOR SCHEDULED SABOTAGE. I don’t have the final copy back from my editing/proofing team yet, so there may be a few glitches I didn’t catch. But I’ve had a number of readers ask for a peek and this seemed like a fun time to do exactly that. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! What’s New and Free Wednesday?

I realize it’s been a while since this blog has posted one of the Wednesday info blasts for new and free. It’s not from lack of trying, but rather from an extraordinarily challenging year that has seemed to derail my writing projects with a kind of focused consistency of a toddler walking through a shop filled with crystal. I’ll switch things up a little and start with What’s Free.  For anyone who hasn’t read the summer Organized Mystery short story “Organized for Labor Day Foul Play,” that was available for a short time in ebook, and later as a quick fun giveaway here on my blog, it’s available free again right now on Wattpad at  https://www.wattpad.com/story/118778329-organized-for-labor-day-foul-play?   You will have to be signed up to Wattpad, but membership is free and the story read is free. I’ll only have it available there a few more weeks, so don’t miss it. Read more…

Schedule Coming Up — Fun Excerpts and Ongoing Contest

To tie with the release of COUNTERFEIT CONSPIRACIES and MARKED MASTERS, I’ve been doing guest posts and interviews all over the internet. My blog tour host has been fabulous at getting me stops at blogs I’m excited to read myself, so guesting there is double the pleasure. At today’s stop, author Barb Taub “interviewed” my character Laurel Beacham, plus has my favorite book excerpt up from Counterfeit Conspiracies. I had so much fun with this format, and she put the whole thing together in a brilliant fashion. Absolutely love the graphics she added. Please check it out if you have a minute. If you’ve read these books–or even just the description–I think you’ll be wowed by the graphics too. Click here to shoot over to Barb Taub’s blog Writing & Coffee. Especially Coffee.  On Friday, Feb 19th, I’ll be posting on the Jungle Red Writers blog, and a little birdie told me there’s a giveaway in the works for Read more…
