Well, I almost did it again. I almost missed celebrating National Coloring Book Day–which would have meant a post for tomorrow instead with a few mea culpas to type. But this year, I made it! Well, by evening across North America anyway (if you’re already at tomorrow on your calendar, I apologize, as usual). But if you love to color with crayons or pencils or paints or pens…Today’s the Day. And besides my own page full of Free and Downloadable Coloring Pages at https://ritterames.com/coloring-pages-to-download/ where you can always find famous cities, landmarks, and art-themed coloring pages, if you want more here are some other free coloring options I’ve noticed recently:

Due to some unforeseen computer problems last week (thanks so much Microsoft), I had a couple of days when I had to work at simply getting my laptop up and running correctly again. Which meant I lost two days of actual worktime and didn’t get to post a Friday Freebie highlighting the Chapter Two excerpt of Bronzed Betrayals on Wattpad. So, since versatility is my middle name anymore, I’m posting the link here to the excerpt and calling it a Travel Tuesday offering because the excerpt lets readers follow behind Laurel as she journeys to her latest “reclamation” destination. Today’s location is the Knightsbridge area in London, and you can Read the Excerpt for Chapter Two for free on Wattpad.
If you want to read the early chapters of BRONZED BETRAYALS while it’s still in preorder, just stop by Wattpad ahead of the title’s release date. This week, I’ve added an excerpt of Chapter One on Wattpad, and in the coming weeks I’ll be adding Chapter Two and Chapter Three. Stop by and see what kind of trouble Laurel and the gang get into this time. BRONZED BETRAYALS on Wattpad .
I’ve often said that I don’t always know what I think about anything until I write about it. Oh sure, I talk a good game, but there’s something about sitting down with paper and pen or balancing a laptop on my lap that allows my thoughts, feelings, fears, frustrations, joys, and–yes–a little intelligence to finally seem to coalesce in the way I truly need it to. I doodle with words, there isn’t any other way to describe it, and those doodled words help me understand everything much better. But I’ve found as I wait for all my thoughts to come together, I tend to doodle with pen and ink as well–drawing (badly) and shading in different shapes and angles. But I’m no artist, and I need all the help I can get.
